Paleis Huis ten Bosch is de officiële residentie van de Nederlandse koning en bevindt zich in een groen park aan de rand van Den Haag. Het paleis wordt niet opengesteld voor publiek, maar de prachtige omgeving en de rijke geschiedenis maken het een bijzondere plek om te bezoeken.

Geschiedenis

  • Gebouwd in 1645 als zomerverblijf voor stadhouder Frederik Hendrik en zijn vrouw Amalia van Solms.

  • Tijdens de Franse overheersing (1795-1813) tijdelijk in beslag genomen.
